Projection Mapping

Projection Mapping Breathtaking, cutting edge, innovative, and visually spectacular — these words, according to our clients, capture the essence of an Image Technical Services production. With the addition of simulated 3D projection mapping to our arsenal of service offerings, a new depth of creativity can be obtained. Simulated 3D projection mapping is a method of mapping three-dimensional points to a two-dimensional plane, creating dynamic images that will blow your mind. Projection mapping, often used to create the illusion of 3D effects on buildings and other living structures, is one of the latest techniques that will transform your event’s backdrop into a dramatic display of 3D imagery. This creative approach to staging and projection is sure to captivate and impress any audience. With over 31 years in staging & media production, simulated 3D projection mapping is just one example of how we continue to offer our clients the latest and most in-demand creative staging services around!

WATCHOUT Media Server

For your creative staging delight, Image now presents dynamic screen graphics and presentations using the Dataton WATCHOUT system. We are bringing it all together, adding real time effects such as motion paths, opacity, scaling rotation, colorization, cropping, and volume! But what is WATCHOUT, you ask? WATCHOUT is a multi-display production and presentation system which acts as a media server to display wide-screen content as big, as crisp, and as seamless as you like.

With use of the WATCHOUT system, our talented creative and technical teams have the ability to combine customized creative designs, multiple projectors or other display devices, with standard computers and network technology to create breathtaking presentations of virtually any size.  The production computer uses a familiar timeline interface to build the show.  It then distributes the media files through the network to computers for our technicians to run the show.  How cool is that?

WATCHOUT utilizes the full resolution of our projectors, monitors, video wall cubes, or LEDs, resulting in unparalleled Image quality, so that we now have the ability to arrange displays at any angle, shape, or form.  Also, overlapping projectors are now automatically edge-blended due to WATCHOUTS’s seamless ability to close the gap between displays and mix different pixel densities.

WATCHOUT also reads most media file formats allowing you to:

  • Produce text and images in Photoshop
  • Create and edit video at any resolution in After Effects
  • Use Final Cut or similar software
  • Mix multiple stereo or surround-sound audio files
  • Integrate video fed live from a video camera
  • Use Composite and S-Video
  • Use SDI inputs for 720 and 1080 HD
  • Display Live PowerPoint presentations
  • Utilize Other computer feeds

See some examples below of recent shows using the WATCHOUT system.

Virtual Conferences

Trainers, educators, and administrators have found virtual environments useful for teaching and networking because they are not restricted to the limitations of a classroom or conference facility and they can customize the environments to make them more engaging to the target demographics for each learning group.  At Image, we recognize the significant trend in the education and training industry. Virtual environments seem to be conducive for good learning – they tend to be interactive, engaging, safe places for students to learn by interaction, sharing and experimentation, and they provide the added benefit of tracking results and immediate feedback.

Within these engaging virtual environments, complete with real-time networking, Image has designed the ultimate platform for your virtual conferencing needs!  We have created a virtual conference center where attendees can attend sessions via on-demand or live simultaneous streams.  Anywhere you choose to host your next conference, Image will be there to support you.  Additionally, our conference center offers an exhibit hall where virtual attendees can chat with exhibitors, network with other attendees, and view poster presentations in order to enhance knowledge on specific products and technologies.
